- Generate unique content ideas and regularly break agenda-setting exclusive stories for the daily and weekly news cycle.
- Prepare accurate balanced and well-researched reports that maintain the highest standards of ethics and editorial quality.
- Utilise excellent news judgment to meet the fast-paced demands of a modern 24-hour digital news outlet.
- Proactively develop and manage trusted relationships with political public service and community contacts.
- Collaborate effectively across The Age The Sydney Morning Herald and various national Metro teams.
- Consistently meet agreed audience benchmarks and deadlines while exploring every side of the story.
