Job Summary
Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) opportunity within a fast-paced urgent care setting providing high-quality acute care for patients of all ages. Providers manage a broad range of conditions including upper respiratory infections minor fractures lacerations and other non-life-threatening illnesses and injuries.
This role offers a mix of scheduled visits and walk-in patients. Clinics operate daily from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. with flexible scheduling options including 12- 10- and 8-hour shifts. Providers may work at multiple local sites and may have opportunities to participate in telemedicine services.
A structured orientation and training program is provided. Prior emergency medicine or urgent care experience is preferred but not required.
Key Responsibilities

Evaluate diagnose and treat acute illnesses and minor injuries

Perform physical examinations and develop appropriate treatment plans

Order and interpret diagnostic tests including laboratory and imaging studies

Prescribe medications in accordance with state regulations
-
Perform minor procedures such as suturing splinting and wound care
-
Provide patient education and discharge instructions
-
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
-
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic medical record systems

Participate in quality improvement and team initiatives
Qualifications
Education:
Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
Experience:
None required; urgent care or emergency medicine experience preferred
Licensure/Certification:
-
Current Licensed Nurse Practitioner (LNP) or Physician Assistant license

Registered Nurse (RN) licensure (if applicable to NP)
-
DEA license
-
AHA BLS-HCP certification required
-
Advanced Life Support certification preferred

Eligible for prescriptive authority in accordance with state regulations
Other Requirements:

Ability to work collaboratively with physicians and healthcare providers

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Proficiency with electronic medical record systems
