Our team of caregivers is passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of our clients and we are looking for a Home Care Scheduler to join our team. Position Overview: The Home Care Scheduler will be responsible for coordinating the schedules of our caregivers and clients to ensure the smooth delivery of services. This is a part-time position with flexible hours perfect for someone looking to make a difference in the lives of seniors while maintaining a work-life balance. Key Responsibilities: - Create and maintain schedules for caregivers and clients taking into account their availability and preferences - Communicate with caregivers and clients to confirm schedules and make any necessary changes - Monitor and track caregiver attendance and punctuality - Coordinate with the care management team to ensure that clients needs are being met - Maintain accurate records of schedules and caregiver assignments - Respond to scheduling requests and inquiries from clients and caregivers in a timely and professional manner - Collaborate with the recruitment team to ensure an adequate pool of caregivers to meet client needs - Participate in regular team meetings to discuss scheduling challenges and solutions - Maintain a positive and professional relationship with caregivers clients and their families Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent - Previous experience in scheduling or coordinating preferred - Excellent organizational and time-management skills - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Proficient in using scheduling software and Microsoft Office - Compassionate and empathetic towards the needs of seniors - Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion - Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening Working Conditions: This is a part-time position with flexible hours typically Monday-Friday. Occasional weekend and evening work may be required. The Home Care Scheduler will primarily work in an office setting but may also need to visit clients homes on occasion.
