Job Summary

Permanent Progeny HR Solutions LLC is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Hospital Medical Technologist (ASCP) to join our team in Bradenton FL. This is a full-time permanent position with competitive salary and benefits. As a Hospital Medical Technologist you will be responsible for performing a variety of laboratory tests and procedures to assist in the diagnosis treatment and prevention of diseases. You will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely test results. Key Responsibilities: - Perform a variety of laboratory tests and procedures including but not limited to hematology chemistry microbiology and immunology - Operate and maintain laboratory equipment and instruments - Prepare and analyze samples interpret results and report findings to healthcare professionals - Maintain accurate and detailed records of all tests and procedures performed - Ensure compliance with all safety and quality control procedures - Assist in the development and implementation of new laboratory procedures and techniques - Train and supervise other laboratory staff including medical laboratory technicians and assistants - Stay current with advances in medical technology and participate in continuing education to maintain ASCP certification Qualifications: - Bachelors degree in Medical Technology or related field - Current ASCP certification - Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Medical Technologist in a hospital setting - Strong knowledge of laboratory procedures and techniques - Proficient in operating and maintaining laboratory equipment - Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship We are an equal opportunity employer and welcome applicants from all backgrounds.
