Our client a prominent provider of heavy machinery including articulators compactors excavators and loaders is seeking an Outside Sales Representative. The role is crucial in establishing and maintaining customer relationships facilitating equipment rentals and purchases and ultimately driving the companys market share and revenue.
Responsibilities:
- Manage designated territory and/or customers to maximize presence on equipment rentals & purchases (Territory: Snohomish to Canadian Boarder)
- Sell rent and lease new and used Volvo and complementary equipment
- Quote and negotiate prices deliver contracts and close orders
- Grow and develop relationships and customer loyalty to increase market share total revenue and gross profit
- Work with customers & potential customers to provide solutions to their equipment needs
- Provide on-site expertise for demonstrations machine inspections and technical support
- Attend training and sales meetings as required to stay current with new equipment and special promotions
- Keep accurate and up-to-date info in the companys sales tracking system and controls
Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience in construction equipment sales (preferred) but experience in a related sector will be considered
- College degree preferred but equipment sales experience may be substituted or combined with education
- Knowledge & use of internet-based programs (Microsoft Office & online machine specification software)
- Clear communication with customers suppliers and colleagues
- Ability to present information and respond to questions from clients managers suppliers and the general public
- Travel throughout the territory with occasional overnight stays for training company meetings etc.
