- Salary ranges from $113574 to $125720 p.a. plus superannuation and annual leave loading
About the role
The School Sport Digital Compliance Officer supports the delivery of safe fair and compliant school sport programs across NSW public schools by ensuring adherence to departmental policies and procedures within the Representative School Sport Pathway supporting complaints handling processes and managing information across School Sport digital platforms. The role sits within the School Sport Unit part of the Student Support and Specialist Programs directorate in the Teaching Learning and Student Wellbeing division which delivers state-wide programs that enhance student engagement wellbeing and participation in sport.
Key accountabilities
- Lead School Sport Unit digital platforms live streaming and website to ensure clear accurate and policy-aligned content.
- Drive student-focused risk controls that support safe delivery of Representative School Sport Pathway programs.
- Oversee records for complex or sensitive complaints and disputes to support timely outcomes.
- Deliver high-quality briefs media responses and positive news content.
- Improve and simplify business practices across School Sport Unit operations.
- Strengthen School Sport Unit messaging across digital channels.

About you
- Strong knowledge of sport and physical activity programs and initiatives in NSW public schools
- Ability to work collaboratively and independently
- Highly organised with excellent time management skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities
- Knowledge of and commitment to implementing the Departments Aboriginal Education Policy and upholding the Departments Partnership Agreement with the NSW AECG and to ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal people.
Essential requirements of the role
- Current and valid Working with Children Check Clearance for paid employment.
- Hold a valid NSW driver licence.
- Ability and willingness to travel regionally
- Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to the value of public education.
