Internship Overview

We are seeking a Sales Intern to join our team and gain hands-on experience in customer relationship management business development and strategic sales operations within the industrial distribution sector. This internship offers an excellent opportunity to develop practical skills in a fastpaced commercial environment while contributing to initiatives that support revenue growth customer satisfaction and long-term partnerships across industrial markets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the sales team with new clients in the industrial distribution space researching leads and preparing outreach materials with outside sales reps.
  • Support the development and implementation of sales strategies presentations and pitch materials tailored to I&C customers.
  • Participate in rep meetings product conversations and followup communication with distributors and supply chain partners.
  • Help track and analyze sales performance metrics with a focus on industrial market trends.
  • Assist in quoting proposals contracts and other sales documentation specific to I&C customers.
  • Conduct market research to identify emerging trends competitor activities and customer needs within industrial distribution.
  • Collaborate with marketing and product teams to align messaging and support initiatives targeting certain reps.
  • Contribute to building strong customer relationships and promoting a customercentric sales culture across the team.

Qualifications

  • Pursuing a degree in Industrial Distribution Business Marketing Communications Sales or a related field.
  • Must have a minimum GPA of 3.0.
  • Must be at least Sophomore level to be considered.
  • Strong analytical problemsolving and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word Excel PowerPoint).
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a professional environment.
  • Prior coursework or interest in sales industrial distribution customer relations or business development is a plus.
