As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol Clearance Required in Charlottesville VA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a leading aerospace and defense location you will conduct routine patrols remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents and support access control using badge procedures. You will document observations respond to reports and communicate clearly with employees visitors and site leadership. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to site personnel visitors and/or vendors by following Allied Universal protocols site-specific policies and access control requirements for an aerospace and defense location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings parking areas and perimeter routes to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related hazards or policy violations.
• Monitor entry points alarms and/or surveillance systems as assigned and verify credentials badges and/or vehicle authorization in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents emergencies and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner coordinating with site contacts and/or local responders as directed.
• Document patrol activity incidents and unusual conditions in written and/or electronic reports and communicate timely updates to supervision and site leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• The client requires proof of a high school diploma and/or GED.
• An active DoD Secret clearance is required.
• Applicants must be 21 years of age.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
