Up to 5% of total basic salary as end-of-contract gratuity may be offered to contract staff upon completion of the contract subject to satisfactory performance. |
Key Responsibilities:
1. Provides recovery support to psychiatric patients in the hospital and community;
2. Assists psychiatric patients in obtaining services and information that meet their individual needs;
3. Assists in organising recovery-based training programmes for psychiatric patients;
4. Participates and shares opinions in clinical operational and administrative meetings;
5. Supports and publicises recovery-oriented programmes;
6. Assists in staff training activities;
7. Performs other related duties as assigned by supervisors.
Entry Requirements:
1. F.5/S.5 or equivalent (see Remarks);
2. Completion of structured departmental training (see Remarks).
Preferable Attributes/ Exposure:
1. Able to read and write Chinese and English and speak fluent Chinese.
2. Having the ability to demonstrate recovery exposure/ experience to support others in recovery would be an advantage.
3. Preference will be given to candidates with working experience in mental health related services.
4. Flexible and have good organisational skills.
5. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and in groups.
6. Good interpersonal and communication skills.
7. Good judgment.

2. Serving staff with F.3/ S.3 standard and 2 years care-related work experience may also be considered. Candidates who have completed the JUMP program organized by Hospital Authority are considered to have attained F.3/S.3 level
3. Applicants who do not meet entry requirements (2) if find suitable will be employed to undergo at least 6 months on the job training including the structured departmental training. Employee may be terminated if the selected applicant cannot pass the assessment after training.
4. The required no. of working hours is 19.5 hours per week.
