Job Summary
A highly regarded and well-established secondary school in Taunton is seeking a talented and enthusiastic Music Teacher to join its successful Performing Arts department from April.

The Role
The successful candidate will teach Music across KS3 & KS4 with the opportunity to contribute to KS5 depending on experience. You will deliver engaging and well-structured lessons that develop musical theory performance skills composition and listening.
Key responsibilities include:
Planning and delivering high-quality Music lessons
Preparing students effectively for GCSE examinations
Supporting school ensembles choirs and musical performances
Contributing to concerts productions and enrichment opportunities
Supporting curriculum development within the Music department
You will join a collaborative Performing Arts team committed to delivering engaging and high-quality creative education.

The Ideal Candidate
Qualified Teacher with QTS (or equivalent)
Strong subject knowledge in Music
Experience teaching to KS4 (KS5 desirable)
Passion for performance and extracurricular Music provision
A proactive and collaborative approach
