Overview

Facility Solutions Group is seeking a skilled Commercial Journeyman Electrician to join our growing this role youll install maintain and repair electrical systems while mentoring apprentices and ensuring all work is completed safely and to code.

Responsibilities

Plan and install electrical systems wiring and equipment based on blueprints and specifications
Lay out and complete installations in compliance with local codes and safety standards
Install and maintain panels switchgear feeders lighting and control systems
Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues and equipment
Work from ladders scaffolds and lifts as needed
Ensure work is completed efficiently safely and up to quality standards
Mentor and support Apprentice Electricians
Communicate with management regarding potential hazards or system concerns

Qualifications

35 years of commercial electrical experience
Current Journeyman Electrician license (as required by state/local regulations)
Valid drivers license
Strong understanding of electrical systems codes and safety practices
Ability to read blueprints and technical diagrams
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to multitask and stay organized
Positive customer-focused attitude
