Job Title: FLT Driver
Location: Brackmills Northampton
Salary:(depending on experience)
Hours: Monday Friday 07:00 15:30
Breaks: 45-minute lunch plus two 15-minute breaks

Overview:
We are currently recruiting for an experienced FLT Driver to join a well-established operation based in Brackmills Northampton. This is a full-time permanent opportunity within a busy warehouse environment offering consistent daytime hours and a supportive team culture. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the smooth movement of goods across the site while maintaining high standards of safety and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operating a Counterbalance and/or Reach Truck safely and efficiently
• Loading and unloading vehicles in line with company procedures
• Moving stock within the warehouse and accurately placing goods into racking locations
• Picking packing and preparing orders for dispatch where required
• Conducting routine equipment checks and reporting any faults
• Maintaining accurate stock control through scanning systems or paperwork
• Ensuring compliance with health and safety policies at all times
• Supporting general warehouse duties as required

The Ideal Candidate:

• Holds a valid and in-date FLT licence (Counterbalance and/or Reach)
• Previous experience working in a warehouse or distribution environment
• Strong understanding of health and safety procedures
• Reliable punctual and able to work as part of a team
• Good attention to detail and accuracy
• Physically fit and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment

Desirable:

• Experience using warehouse management systems (WMS)
• Previous experience working within a high-volume logistics operation
• Flexibility to support overtime during peak periods
