**This is a part time opportunity. This role will be two 8 hour days 16 hours per week likely one day in the Dublin CTH (Mondays) and one day at the Main Downtown location**

Provides audiology care and services to patients performing hearing evaluations and interpreting diagnostic testing


Job Description:


Essential Functions:

  • Provides evidence-based diagnostic evaluations to patients with varied medical complexity to determine type and degree of hearing sensitivity.
  • Recommends appropriate follow-up care including personal equipment technology and makes appropriate referrals to ensure a comprehensive care plan.
  • Educates parents and caregivers on the impact of hearing loss and importance of compliance with recommendations.
  • Performs the administrative functions of individual caseload including scheduling entering daily charges and submitting timely documentation. Ensures accuracy and compliance of documentation.
  • Attends continuing education programs and participates in departmental in-service training programs to enhance professional development.
  • Conducts audiology educational programs and supervision for hospital staff students licensed audiologists audiology aides and unlicensed personnel.

Education Requirement:

Doctorate of Audiology or equivalent education and experience required.


Licensure Requirement:

Valid Ohio License in Audiology required.


Certifications:

  • Certificate of Clinical Competency from the American Speech Language Hearing Association or American Board of Audiology certification from the American Academy of Audiology preferred.
  • CPR certification required. Must be received no later than 60 days post hire or 60 days post expiration.

Previous pediatric audiology experience preferred.
