The Department of Ancient and Modern Languages Literatures and Cultures at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee (UWM) invites applications for a full-time lecturer position in the Korean language to begin in September 2026. This position is for the fall of 2026 and spring of 2027. This position can be renewed upon further need and satisfactory performance.
The teaching load will be 12 credit hours per semester. This lecturer position will be non-remote and in-residence at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. Duties for the successful candidates will include teaching the first- and second-year Korean language courses (from the first semester to the fourth semester in a Korean language sequence) and actively participating in extracurricular activities and program events. Its crucial to work with collegiality.
