To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth this Summer were looking to add a Test Engineering Intern located in our Austin TX site.
Reporting to the Test Engineering Manager the student will assist with daily engineering tasks while learning collaborating and working alongside Engineers and cross-functional teams.
What a typical day looks like:
- Assists and coordinates in fabrication and design of testing and test control equipment software and systems testing.
- Determines testing conditions are conducted sequences and phases of test operations.
- Analyzes and interprets test data and prepares reports.
- Uses tools to conduct tests on electronic products and systems or software.
- Supports floor test technicians and test operators on test hardware and/or software
- Resolves test yield problems by performing analysis of root causes developing and coordinating corrective action measures and monitoring improvements.
- Attends team meetings and supports project work as needed
Student qualities were seeking for this internship assignment:
- Jr/Sr student pursuing degree in Electrical/Manufacturing Engineering or related major
- Enthusiastic about working in a manufacturing environment
- Highly collaborative creative and excellent communication skills
- Previous internship experience strongly preferred!
Internship Program Requirements:
- Available to start on May 26th and work 40 hours/week (in-person) for 10-12 week Summer assignment
- Currently enrolled in 4-year accredited university
- 3.0 minimum GPA
