Pay Range - $30 to $35
2nd Shift - 2:00PM to 10:30PM 10% Monday to Friday -
Flexible for orientation & training (day shift - 6:00AM to 2:30PM Flexible)

DESCRIPTION:
Join us at Thermo Fisher Scientific as a Lead Manufacturing Engineering Technician and contribute to our mission to advance health environmental and safety this key role youll ensure optimal equipment performance and maintenance while supporting continuous improvement in our manufacturing facilities. Youll resolve complex technical issues coordinate preventive maintenance programs and collaborate with engineering production and quality teams. Your expertise will directly impact the production of electron microscopes used by researchers and healthcare professionals.
REQUIREMENTS:
Required Experience
3 years of experience in manufacturing engineering maintenance or similar technical role
Preferred Experience
3 -7 years of experience in manufacturing engineering maintenance or similar technical role
Required Education
High school Diploma or equivalent
Preferred Education
Preferred Fields of Study: Engineering Electronics or related field
Professional certifications in relevant technical areas preferred
Knowledge and Skills
Strong knowledge of tooling and equipment maintenance
Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings schematics and maintenance documentation
Experience with calibration preventive maintenance and GMP/GEP compliance
Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and repair complex mechanical electrical and automated systems
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for training and mentoring technicians
Proficiency with maintenance management systems and Microsoft Office applications
Physical ability to lift up to 40 lbs and work in manufacturing environment
Demonstrated commitment to safety protocols and procedures
Strong organizational and time management skills
