Marketing Data Steward
Location: Madrid Spain (Remote Full Time)
Position Overview:
We are looking for a Marketing Data Steward (Analytics & Reporting) to join our Customer Data Analytics team. This role is responsible for ensuring consistency alignment and trust in analytics data across platforms while enabling Marketing Managers and Business Unit Directorsthrough clear intuitive and reliable reporting.
The Marketing Data Steward acts as the owner of reconciliation logic across systems such as Snowflake Eloqua Salesforce BigQuery paid media platforms social analytics tools and reporting environments (mostly Qlik). This role ensures that data is centralized in Snowflake and consumed consistently across downstream tools.
This position works closely with a Web Data Analyst and a CRM Data Analyst serving as the connective layer between data sources analytics outputs and businessfacing reports. Success in this role requires strong analytical judgment attention to detail and the ability to translate complex multisource data into simple decisionready insights.
Key Responsibilities:
- Take endtoend ownership of analytics data consistency across platforms.
- Ensure that data is ingested into Snowflake whenever feasible acting as a steward of the analytical data layer.
- Document and maintain metric and dimension definitions used across reporting.
- Match reconcile and validate data across platforms including (but not limited to): Snowflake Eloqua Salesforce BigQuery Skai Google Ads Bing Ads social analytics platforms (TBD) Qlik.
- Identify discrepancies understand root causes (e.g. attribution logic timing platform definitions) and drive resolution.
- Design and maintain clear intuitive and consistent reports and dashboards.
- Ensure reports reflect agreed definitions and are trusted by stakeholders.
- Manage analytics and reporting requests via JIRA.
- Define and document data standards and reporting conventions.
- Establish best practices for metric consistency platform reconciliation data validation and testing documentation and ownership.
- Actively contribute to improving data trust efficiency and analytical maturity across the organization.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience working with multisource analytics data particularly across marketing and CRM platforms.
- Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts ideally with handson experience in Snowflake.
- Demonstrated ability to reconcile and align metrics across platforms with differing schemas and definitions.
- Experience working with BI or reporting tools.
- Familiarity with JIRA for task and request management.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
- Highly organized accountable and detail oriented.
- Comfortable working independently and in a fast-paced global environment.
- Respectful of cultural diversity and flexible with international team schedules.
- Willingness to travel occasionally for team workshops or stakeholder meetings.
