Geotab is seeking a Full Sales Cycle Sales Partner - SMB who will drive new business growth by managing the complete sales cycle from initial engagement through to closed deal. The role converts inbound enquiries while proactively developing new opportunities through outbound prospecting ensuring a steady flow of qualified opportunities across the funnel. What youll do:
As a Full Sales Cycle Sales Partner - SMB your key area of responsibility will be owning pipeline health and revenue performance consistently building and progressing opportunities to achieve monthly and quarterly targets. You will be responsible for maintaining momentum from first contact through to commercial agreement applying strong product knowledge to engage SMB decision-makers. You will need to work closely with internal teams (e.g. deployment & support) to ensure smooth customer handover post-sale as well as collaborate cross-functionally to ensure a high-quality customer experience.
To be successful in this role you will be a resilient and persistent self-starter with excellent verbal and written communication skills and have the ability to explain technology solutions in clear precise and relevant terms. In addition the successful candidate will have strong commercial awareness and problem-solving skills with an ability to identify needs develop effective solutions and manage multiple opportunities through to completion. The successful candidate will also be able to maintain rigorous CRM management to ensure accurate visibility of pipeline activity and reliable forecasting.
How youll make an impact:
Meet or exceed monthly activity metrics and revenue targets.
Conduct outbound prospecting activity to generate new SMB opportunities.
Perform structured discovery to understand customer needs challenges and buying criteria.
Deliver tailored online product demonstrations.
Manage opportunities through defined sales stages from qualification to close.
Prepare proposals pricing and documentation in line with company guidelines.
Negotiate terms within approved parameters and confidently close new business agreements.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all customer interactions and opportunity details in CRM.
Manage follow-up activity to ensure consistent pipeline progression and deal momentum.
Provide reliable forecasts and updates to leadership as required.
Collaborate with internal teams (e.g. deployment & support) to ensure smooth customer handover post-sale.
Participate in sales meetings training sessions and performance reviews to support continuous improvement.
Adhere to internal sales processes compliance requirements and pricing guidelines.
What youll bring to the role:
1 - 3 years of required previous experience in a related field.
Post-Secondary Diploma/Degree or equivalent; tertiary qualifications are viewed favorably.
Prior sales experience is advantageous showcasing a strong drive and commitment to achieving monthly quotas.
Commercial and business awareness including comfort discussing pricing ROI and navigating objections.
Proficiency with cloud-based software CRM systems and general computer systems with high attention to detail.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to quickly build rapport and maintain ongoing customer relationships.
Effective time management and organizational skills to balance inbound and outbound activity in a fast-paced environment.
