Job Summary

Job Description

The successful candidate will be part of the Cargo Network Operations team and will assist in resolving load controlrelated issues by supporting load planning procedures. The role provides operational support in load control load planning documentation and coordination between various stakeholders to ensure on-time performance and regulatory compliance on every flight.

Responsibilities

Load Control Support

  • Support load planning procedures and assist in resolving load controlrelated issues
  • Maintain accurate flight documentation and records and provide backup support during irregular operations and flight delays

Load Master Support

  • Assist in calculating aircraft weight and balance for passenger and cargo flights and support the preparation of load sheets and loading instruction reports (LIR)
  • Verify cargo manifests and loading instructions and ensure proper cargo restraint and load distribution
  • Ensure special cargo is correctly loaded on the aircraft (e.g. correct orientation proper restraint adherence to aircraft restrictions for live animals perishables oversized items)
  • Assist with load planning to maximise aircraft utilisation coordinate cargo transfers and connections and support compliance with specific loading requirements
  • Support communication between flight crew ground crew and operations control

Training & Development

  • Participate in comprehensive initial training programmes covering weight and balance fundamentals and Business Continuity Plan (BCP) training programmes
  • Complete aircraft-specific training modules for different fleet dangerous goods training and maintain current certifications
  • Monitor and follow up on acknowledgements from stations sending reminders to ensure timely confirmation of receipt and compliance with procedural updates

Support Activities

  • Assist in preparing training materials and documentation and coordinate training schedules with operational requirements
  • Support the development of standard operating procedures and training guides
  • Generate OCCS reports and format data into DOC reporting templates for analysis and perform delay database archiving using Excel
  • Serve as overall system administrator ensure proper documentation to maintain a clear audit trail for compliance and tracking purposes

Special Tasks

  • Support logistics related to A350F Entry Into Service (EIS) and post-EIS operations including smart freighter management

Requirements

  • Diploma in Logistics Marketing Business or related disciplines
  • Experience in the air cargo industry preferably with load control exposure
  • Good knowledge of load control operations
  • Proficient in IT systems and applications (e.g. MS Word Excel PPT)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good analytical skills
  • Ability to influence and persuade stakeholders
