We areseekinga highly skilled and experiencedSeniorSoftware Engineer to join our dynamic team at Royal London. As aSeniorSoftware Engineer you will play a crucial role in providing technical skills to help our teams design develop test and implement efficient solutions that meet business and customer requirements.
The successful candidate will have a real impact on how Royal London develop our applications. You will be given the opportunity to grow your career within a team focussed on promoting internal career progression.
This rolewillfocus on evolving the technology stackoperatedby the Core Services team andwill contribute to our journey towards the future of Master Data Management (MDM) supporting the evolution of how we master and modernise customer data across the organisation. The Core team builds and runs sharedbusinesscriticalservices used across multiple areas of Royal London.
This role contributes to our purpose of strengthening the mutual choice for our customers by providing the best technology solutions to our customers.
About the role
You will be working in a technology stack which primarily includes Angular services and SQL Databases.
Participate in the development of technical solutions managing own workloadand those of junior team members.
Provide technical advice and guidance to other software developers proactively and reactively.
Takes responsibility for ensuring that all code meets Royal London Group standards guidelines and quality gates for given technology.
Encourages close collaboration with other disciplines within the team.
Takes an active role on the transfer of knowledge and sharing of experiences relating to own area of technical expertise at practice level.
About you
You will have hands on development experience Angular successfully delivering and leading change on complex applications.
Enterprise experience working across the full software development lifecycle.
Desire to support the wider team and collaborate with stakeholders across the business.
Able to communicate at all levels in an engaging and collaborative manner.
Keen to continue to develop technical skills in ever emerging technology stacks.
