Your Mission

Drive the transformation of the commercial vehicle industry into E-mobility and Digitalization together with us. As a Global Trainee you will gain deep insights into various areas of the company in Germany and abroad. Your role focuses on the development and application of Digital Twins and AI-based analysis and optimization methods to virtually validate data-driven improve and successfully industrialize battery production processes.

Your Responsibilities

• Work within the E-Mobility Technology Center on production process development for battery systems and modules
• Design build and further develop Digital Twins of production processes equipment and process chains
• Apply simulation and virtual commissioning to digitally validate assembly and joining technologies
• Analyze production and sensor data to optimize quality cost throughput and energy efficiency
• Develop and implement AI and machine-learning use cases such as anomaly detection quality prediction and predictive maintenance
• Support the transition from prototype manufacturing to series production and transfer digital solutions into real operations
• Collaborate closely with production planning development IT and data analytics in cross-functional teams

Your Profile

• Excellent Masters or Diploma degree in electrical engineering mechatronics mechanical engineering automotive engineering or a comparable field
• Clear academic focus or strong interest in Digital Twin technologies simulation artificial intelligence machine learning or Industry 4.0
• Initial practical experience in data analysis modeling or programming (e.g. Python MATLAB SQL) is an advantage
• Strong analytical mindset and enthusiasm for combining production IT and digital technologies
• High level of motivation initiative and willingness to learn
• International experience of at least three months is desirable
• Fluent in English; good German skills are an advantage
