Job Description
As a Security Officer - Armed Patrol Detail in Charlotte NC you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a financial institution location you will conduct routine patrols maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents and respond to alarms and reports with calm professionalism. You will support access control document activity clearly and deliver standout customer service through strong communication. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients at a financial institution location by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities.
- Perform armed patrol duties and maintain readiness in accordance with Allied Universal policies post orders and all applicable laws and licensing requirements.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including alarms disturbances and access control issues and notify appropriate parties as required.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout interior areas exterior grounds and the perimeter observing for unusual activity that may help to deter unauthorized access and/or criminal activity.
- Complete detailed incident reports patrol logs and other required documentation and communicate key information to site leadership Allied Universal management and/or law enforcement as needed.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have 3 years combined law enforcement military and/or security-related experience OR have a college degree.
- Provide proof of high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- An armed guard card and/or license is preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
