Job Summary
We are seeking a meticulous and organized QA/QC Quality Engineer to support the Quality Assurance and Quality Control departments in managing documentation data entry and administrative tasks related to quality assurance processes. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and a strong understanding of quality control procedures as well as excellent organizational and communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Assist in generating maintaining and organizing quality control documentation including quality plans inspection and test plans reports test results and compliance certification.
- Compilation of Manufacturing Record Books (MRBs).
- Review of Material Test certificates against codes standards and client specifications.
- Coordinate with QA/QC Inspectors and other departments to obtain necessary documentation and information for audits and inspections.
- Coordinate with external Inspectors for carrying out inspection activities.
- Assist in the preparation of quality reports including tracking non-conformances corrective actions and product testing data.
- Provide administrative support to the QA/QC department including scheduling meetings filing and maintaining document control systems.
- Assist with internal and external audits ensuring that all documentation is readily available and in order.
- Ensure proper handling storage and archiving of quality documentation in both physical and digital formats.
- Assist with maintaining the calibration records for testing and inspection equipment.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in a relevant field (preferred).
- Previous experience in a clerical administrative or technical support role within a QA/QC or manufacturing environment (preferred).
- Understanding of quality assurance and control processes and standards.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 or other industry-specific quality standards.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel Outlook) and data entry.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities effectively.
