Mechanical Maintenance Engineer
Location: Burntisland
Salary: 44k
Monday to Thursday 8am - 5.30pm
Friday 6am - 10am
Overview
Opportunity for a hands-on mechanical maintenance engineer to join a manufacturing site supporting plant reliability through a mix of reactive PPM delivery and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to breakdowns and carry out fault finding on hydraulics pneumatics conveyors bearings and gearboxes
- Complete PPM activities and support plant installations
- Identify root causes and drive reliability improvements
- Work closely with production to minimise downtime
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and follow safe systems of work
Requirements
- Time served Mechanical apprenticeship or equivalent
- Background in manufacturing or industrial environments
- Strong mechanical fault-finding skills
- Experience across mechanical drives hydraulics and pneumatics
- Team-focused with a proactive approach
