Job Summary

The Managing Director is responsible for leading and overseeing all advising and search partners engaged across the full portfolio of World 50 communities. Advising Partners at World 50 Group are members that are responsible for supporting the growth of World 50 communities through referrals thought leadership participation and community engagement. The Managing Director will ensure that these partners are consistently delivering against these commitments and manage our relationship with them.

The Managing Director serves as the central accountability leader for partner performance quality control and strategic alignment ensuring advising partners drive measurable value across every World 50 group they support.

A core mandate of the role is delivering against the 2026 advising partner revenue target of $3000000 ensuring coordinated execution across communities to achieve this goal.

Core Responsibilities

Enterprise Partner Strategy & Commercial Performance

  • Oversee the strategy governance and commercial performance of all advising and search partners across World 50 Group communities.
  • Deliver the $3M revenue target with disciplined forecasting attribution and executive reporting.
  • Establish and enforce annual performance commitments (executive introductions pipeline contribution engagement participation revenue impact).
  • Align partner deployment to portfolio growth priorities priority industries and enterprise account strategy.
  • Identify opportunities to expand partner impact into new or developing groups.
  • Ensure partnership efforts are coordinated non-duplicative and strategically deployed.

Membership Pipeline Integrity & Quality Stewardship

  • Oversee adherence to introduction vetting and qualification standards to protect peer integrity across communities.
  • Partner with Group Leaders and Sales Directors to review pipeline health introduction readiness and conversion progress.
  • Review introduction quality and provide direct feedback to partners to improve targeting and fit.
  • Intervene decisively when candidate quality preparation or positioning falls below standards.

Executive Relationship Leadership & Governance

  • Lead operating reviews quarterly business reviews and annual partnership assessments covering performance and strategic alignment.
  • Ensure expectations priorities growth objectives and confidentiality standards are clearly communicated and upheld.
  • Act as an escalation point for partnership performance or conduct matters.
  • Drive partner participation in summits curated gatherings and leadership discussions as peer contributors encouraging high-quality thought leadership engagement.

Success in the role is defined by consistent high quality partner delivery across all World 50 communities measurable contribution to membership growth strong partnership engagement and unwavering protection of the peer integrity and trust that underpin the World 50 model.

Ideal Profile

  • Senior executive with experience leading partner ecosystems executive search leaders or advisory relationships.
  • Deep understanding of enterprise leadership roles and succession landscapes across the C suite.
  • Strong performance management discipline with the ability to drive accountability in external partners.
  • Exceptional relationship leadership skills balancing influence diplomacy and standards enforcement.
  • Familiarity with peer based executive communities confidentiality driven environments and membership models.
