Role description:

Our Interiors Team are proud to continue to add to their list of recent project successes securing some of the UKs most high profile complex and stimulating projects to complement their existing portfolio of works. The projects are diverse and challenging and cover the workplace retail retail banking automotive transportation and industrial sectors.

Reporting to the Technical Director you will provide senior management support into a variety of projects within the property environment. As we operate in such a diverse marketplace you will gain experience of working on a wide and varied portfolio of projects which will enhance your skills and test your technical knowledge and will have an opportunity to develop your career within a growing and successful global Interior Design Consultancy.

Some of the major projects & experience you will be involved in include but are not limited to:

• Multi-disciplinary projects
• Multi Sector E.g. Retail Food & Beverage Workplace Hospitality etc
• Strategy Design & Delivery for new and refurbished office spaces
• New store design including design standards Governance & Assurance
  
  
  

Role accountabilities:

• Responsibility for delivery of medium size projects or elements of larger projects with fee levels typically in range of 1M - 10M
• Managing project teams in the collection and analysis of data and development of design solutions
• Guiding the development of successful client outcomes
• Accountability for the preparation and registration of all relevant documentation and design reports ensuring that all documentation is accurate.
• Maintaining on-going communication with relevant Project Leaders/Team Leaders and clients
• Contributing to the resolution of technical issues on projects and providing technical guidance to other team members.
• Working in collaboration with other design disciplines to ensure the integrity of the overall design
• Reviewing completed design work to ensure accuracy.
• Good design and / or technical skills and familiarity with construction methods
• Affective technical project management client relationship management and commercial skills
• Mentor & coach others may emerging line management responsibilities
  
  

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelors interior design design management or architectural degree
• Effective project management client relationship management and commercial skills.
• A passion for interior design excellence and a desire to embrace new and innovative thinking.
• The ability to think in an innovative and entrepreneurial manner with good understanding of commercial aspects of a project.
• Significant experience in multi-sector interiors & design management.
• A solid understanding of AutoCAD / Revit and a CDE with knowledge of other industry recognised design software.
• Proficient in delivering project in BIM.
• Good motivational influencing people management and delegation skills.
