Job Summary
Join Value Added Distributors LLC as a full-time Production Associate - Assembler and help our motivated team complete excellent work for our valued customers! This entry-level position with our Shawano WI team starts off assembling hydraulic hoses and with cross-departmental training youll be able to learn other parts of the business and gain valuable experience.

If youre interested in becoming our Production Associate - Assembler youll need the following qualifications:
- 18 years old
- Ability to use equipment and tools like saws crimpers forklifts etc.
- Ability to accurately read and interpret technical work instructions and documents
- Physical ability to safely lift 50 lbs. using proper lifting techniques
- Ability to apply basic math skills (adding subtracting multiplying and dividing) and use/read tape measures/digital calipers
- Basic computer skills with the ability to type 25 wpm
- Ability to balance priorities work with a sense of urgency and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to communicate clearly and coordinate with other teams
- Willingness to learn and follow standard company practices
- Forklift certification (preferred); we will train if needed!
- High school diploma or GED equivalent

YOUR ROLE AS OUR PRODUCTION ASSOCIATE - ASSEMBLER
- Completing accurate and high-quality work to meet customers expectations
- Wearing PPE following all safety policies adhering to company procedures and meeting all quality standards
- Using equipment and hand/power tools to accurately cut and assemble hydraulic hoses according to production guidelines
- Completing detailed inspection paperwork and identifying noncomforming products
- Maintaining a neat and clean work area
- Participating in cross-departmental training to learn other aspects of the business
- Leading by example and collaborating with team members to meet the companys goals and performance expectations
- Handling additional entry-level duties as assigned
