2027 Firm Risk Management Summer Analyst Program - Quantitative Risk (New York)
Have you ever wondered how banks manage the many evolving risks they face At Morgan Stanley our Firm Risk Management Divisionidentifies measures monitors and controls risks. Some of those risks include but are not limited to regulatory risk and the risk offinancial lossto the Firm and our clients. Through independent assessment of the effectiveness and consistency of risk management processes we mitigate potential harm to the Firm and our clients.
Our risk departments called Risk Stripesseekto uphold and improve different components of our risk framework. We cater the program to each individual and place them in a specific Risk Stripe most well-suited to their abilities and interests.

OUR RISK STRIPES:
Model Risk Management (MRM): MRMis responsible forthe Firms Model Risk Management Framework and the validation of models and tools related to the firms business and functions. MRM alsoestablishesstandards for the identification development validation and use of models and tools.
Risk Analytics Department (RA): RA develops models to measure and manage credit market and operational risk providing quantitative analysis of the Firms risk exposures by developing mathematical and statistical models.

Expected base pay rates for the role will be $48.08 hourly at the commencement of employment. However base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package which depending on the position may also include commission earnings incentive compensation discretionary bonuses other short and long-term incentive packages and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
