We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role ofAssistant Vice President - Data Vetting Specialist.

In this role you will:

Perform meticulous vetting of data for diverse corporate loan structures includingbilateral syndicated and revolving credit facilities.
Validate critical lifecycle events such asmaturity extensions limit modifications ensuring they align with legal documentation.
Audit data triggers forcovenant compliance and potential breaches or defaults.

Oversee data integrity forrestructured loans ensuring renegotiated terms and repayment schedules are correctly captured in servicing systems.
SupportDefault and Recoveryteams by tracking collateral valuations recovery expectations and write-off data from a Finance and Credit Risk perspective.

Reconcile loan data acrossfront-office booking systems back-office servicing platforms and Credit Risk models(e.g. ECL PD/LGD models).
Investigate and resolve data discrepancies betweenGeneral Ledger (G/L) records and underlying loan sub-ledgers.
Maintain high standards of data hygiene to support regulatory reporting and internal audits.

To be successful you will:

Deep knowledge ofcorporate loan specifications including floating/fixed rates amortization schedules and collateral types.
Expert understanding ofCredit Risk parameters(EAD LGD) andFinance/Accounting principlesrelated to loan loss provisioning (e.g. IFRS 9).
Familiarity withInsolvency and Debt Restructuringprocesses.
Hands-on experience withLoan Servicing Systems(e.g. FIS Misys/Finastra or similar core banking platforms).
Advanced data manipulation skills usingSQL Excel (VBA/Power Query) Python is a plus for large-scale data vetting and automation.
Experience with BI tools likePower BI or Tableauto visualize data health and portfolio trends.
Bachelors or Masters degree inFinance Accounting or Data Science. Professional certifications such asCFA or ACCAare highly desirable.
Experience in data vetting credit analysis or loan operations role within a commercial or investment bank.
Proven track record of meeting tight deadlines in a high-pressure environment.
Strong communications written and verbal and interpersonal/team skills.
