Job Summary
As a Data Scientist in our company you will support our data driven initiatives by collecting processing and analyzing data to uncover actionable insights. This role is ideal for a motivated individual eager to develop technical and analytical skills while working closely with senior analysts and cross-functional teams.
The role combines technical expertise in the use of advanced analytics and machine learning techniques analytical thinking to solve complete data records and ability to provide valuable summaries and conclusions starting from large data sets.
Youll play a pivotal role in shaping business strategy by turning complex data into insights that drive high-impact decisions and transformative outcomes.
Your responsibilities will be to:
Data Collection & Cleaning: Gather data from databases APIs and spreadsheets. Clean and preprocess raw data to ensure accuracy and usability. Develop machine learning models (e.g. regression classification clustering) to address business needs. Apply statistical techniques to validate results and ensure accuracy
Basic Analysis: Perform exploratory data analysis using tools like Excel SQL and Python/R to identify trends patterns and outliers
Reporting & Visualization: Assist in creating reports dashboards and visualizations (e.g. Tableau Power BI) to communicate findings to stakeholders
Collaboration: Work with senior analysts and departments (e.g. Marketing Operations) to understand data needs and deliver solutions. Translate complex technical concepts into actionable recommendations for non-technical audiences
Documentation: Maintain clear records of data sources methodologies and results
Continuous Learning: Stay updated on industry trends tools and best practices in data analysis
Our requirements:
Bachelors degree in Data Science Statistics Computer Science Economics or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
Relevant experience of ideally more than 2 years in matching roles
Strong foundation in statistical analysis combined with expertise in machine learning techniquesincluding supervised unsupervised and deep learningand proficiency in data preprocessing and transformation
Proficiency in Excel and SQL
Familiarity with Python R or similar programming languages
Basic understanding of data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau Power BI)
Proficient Italian and English language skill mandatory
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities combined with attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
Skilled in conveying complex technical insights in a clear and accessible manner to non-technical stakeholders
