ABOUT US:  

Our Games team designs develops and delivers high-quality digital games enjoyed by players around the world. From concept to launch we focus on creating engaging visually rich and technically robust gaming experiences across multiple platforms. 

Based in our Mostar office this role offers the opportunity to collaborate closely with experienced engineers designers and product leaders contribute to key technical and creative decisions and directly impact the evolution of our growing games portfolio.

THE CHALLENGE: 

  • Implement domain logic and definitions within the system and collaborate on product requirements by providing feedback and asking the right questions; 

  • Build reliable and scalable solutions aiming for clean implementations that minimize bugs and reduce the need for support or rework; 

  • Continuously learn - whether its the business domain the technologies we currently use or new tools and approaches we want to explore; 

  • Actively suggest improvements to technical solutions or domain implementation at any time especially during team planning sessions and retrospectives. 

 


Qualifications :

  • Youre passionate about technology and highly motivated to self-improve. This comes before any experience expectation; 

  • 1-2 years of industry experience in software development is desirable. Its not a blocker if theres none knowledge has always been more important to us over the years of experience; 

  • Experience working with RDBMS. If you havent worked with any then we expect knowledge of concepts pros and cons; 

  • Experience or basic knowledge of backend communication patterns (e.g. HTTP WebSockets gRPC) and messaging or streaming systems (e.g. Kafka RabbitMQ Redis Streams). If you havent worked with these technologies directly we expect understanding of core concepts and trade-offs. 


Additional Information :

  • Experience working with Javascript/Typescript; 

  • We believe in unit testing. So it would be nice that you are already writing tests with features which youre developing; 

  • Experience with software containers and container orchestration platforms. This is especially the case for Docker and Kubernetes; 

  • Experience with build deployment and development tools.
