Are you passionate about premium audio and driven to shape the sound of the future We are seeking an experienced Component Owner for Speakers to take a leading role in the development and quality assurance of our in-vehicle audio experience.
In this role you will combine technical expertise supplier management and cross-functional collaboration to deliver best-in-class audio performance across a diverse portfolio of truck cabins and configurations.
Core Mission
As the technical lead for speaker components you will own the entire lifecycle from early concept to industrialization. You will be the bridge between cutting-edge acoustic technology and robust automotive execution ensuring our customers experience world-class sound on the road.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Ownership & Speaker Development
Define and maintain technical requirements and specifications for speakers and installation concepts.
Evaluate new technologies and components for current and future vehicle platforms.
Ensure seamless integration and compatibility with amplifiers microphones and the overall audio ecosystem.
Evaluation Tuning & Verification
Lead audio measurements validation and benchmarking using advanced acoustic tools.
Optimize and adapt speaker performance for various cabin environments to ensure consistent quality.
Project Management & Planning
Take end-to-end ownership of speaker-related activities within product updates and new projects.
Create and track schedules milestones and progress for all tuning and component activities.
Manage risks and dependencies driving mitigation actions and presenting status updates to project leadership.
Supplier & Stakeholder Management
Serve as the primary operational interface with speaker suppliers managing requirements quality expectations and test results.
Secure cross-functional alignment on design decisions with Purchasing Quality Software and Design teams.
Documentation & Lifecycle Management
Maintain structured documentation of development tuning parameters and design decisions.
Contribute to internal standards and design guidelines for future automotive audio systems.
Qualifications :
Technical Competence
Proven experience in speaker and audio technology.
Hands-on experience with audio measurement systems (e.g. analyzers simulation tools acoustic measurement equipment).
Strong understanding of electro-acoustics signal flow and in-vehicle acoustics.
Project Management & Professional Background
Demonstrated ability to lead technical work packages and coordinate multiple stakeholders.
Prior experience in automotive development projects is highly valued.
Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering Acoustics Audio Engineering or a related field (Masters preferred).
Any formal project management certification is a plus.
Soft Skills
