C# Embedded C Developer

Lifescale Analytics is seeking a skilled C# / Embedded C Developer Build Intelligent User-Focused Systems.

Are you a developer who enjoys workingacross software layersfrom intuitive user interfaces to low-level embedded code Were looking for a hands-onC# / Embedded C developerwho cares deeply abouthow systems work and how users experience them. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex problems writing clean code and contributing across bothapplication software and embedded systems.

Youll work with modern technologies while also supporting and extendingEmbedded C componentsthat integrate with hardware-driven systems. This position is onsite and hybrid in the Boston area and requires flexibility to support client needs during nights and weekends when requested.

What Youll Do:

• Design develop test and maintain applications usingC# and (.NET Core / .NET 6)
• Build and maintainAPIs and backend servicessupporting enterprise applications
• Collaborate with hardware systems and application teams to ensureseamless softwarehardware integration
• Contribute toUI/UX design and implementation focusing on usability clarity and visual consistency
• Translate system and business requirements intointuitive user-friendly interfaces
• Participate incode reviews shaping development standards across both application and embedded codebases
• Troubleshoot debug and optimize performance acrossapplication and embedded layers
• Deliver enhancements bug fixes and ongoing system improvements
• Document technical designs embedded interfaces and UI behaviors as needed
• Provideoccasional off-hours support(nights/weekends) for planned releases or critical client needs with coordination and advance notice
• Take on additional responsibilities as system and client needs evolve

What Were Looking For

Required Qualifications

• 3 yearsof professional software development experience
• Strong experience withC#
• Experience with Avalonia and Cross-Platform C# Development.
• Strong understanding ofobject-oriented programmingand software design principles
• Avisual mindsetwith experience implementing or influencingUI/UX design
• Ability to translate technical and functional requirements intoclean intuitive user interfaces
• Familiarity withGitand CI/CD pipelines
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with a distributed team
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to workonsite/hybrid in the Boston area
• Willingness to provide flexible support during critical client needs

Preferred (Nice to Have)

• Develop maintain and supportEmbedded C componentsthat interface with hardware and system-level services
• Hands-on experience with Embedded C developmentin production environments
• Experience working withhardware interfaces firmware or system-level integrations
• Experience withembedded systems device drivers or real-time operating systems (RTOS)
• Experience with GPIO SPI and other hardware interfaces.
• Experience working inAgile/Scrum environments
• Priorconsulting or contract-to-hireexperience

Education:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Software Engineering Computer Engineering or any related field along with 3 years of demonstrable experience
