Job Summary
Responsibilities
- Lead on organic farming policy the introduction PfG to at least double to amount of organic land in Scotland by 2026.
- Lead on policy aspects for delivery and operation of Agri-Environment Climate Scheme in 2026-27
- Work closely with colleagues in APD and RPID on the Agriculture Reform Programme including future agri-environment measures.
- Work closely with colleagues to represent agri-environment interests in associated policies such as Cleaner Air for Scotland soil and water quality policy.

Working pattern
This role is a temporary position with an expected commitment of 9 months.
