Working Student Group Accounting (all genders)

About the role

We are looking for a Working Student to support our team. The Working Student plays an important role in supporting the group accounting team on its mission to ensure financial reporting accuracy for a company with multiple subsidiaries segments and international operations in the renewable energies industry. You will work with colleagues across the world in a role that goes beyond traditional accounting tasks.

What you will do

You assist in the preparation of monthly and quarterly group reportings as well as the consolidated financial statements in accordance with IFRS

You support the master data maintenance in SAP-BO FC and other systems with a focus on the preparation for consolidation (e.g. scope of consolidation) as well as participation in the further development of the financial closing process in SAP-BO FC and in other digitalization projects

You support the further development of the group accounting guidelines

You analyze and prepare figures for external and internal reporting

What youll need to succeed

Currently undergoing business studies preferably specializing in accounting controlling or auditing

Business fluent in German and English

Strong team spirit

Problem-solving skills and good communication skills

Analytical understanding and an independent structured way of working with high quality standards for your own work
