The Perseus Operating Group a division of Constellation Software (TSX:CSU) isseekingan energeticindependentand detailed orientedFinance Managerto join our team. As aFinance Manager you willbe responsible forprovidingaccurate repeatable andtimelyreporting and analysis toCorporateHead Office and multiple Business Unitsin order toassistthem in making sound business and investment decisions. You will serve as a business partner to bothCorporateHead Office and Business Units helping them understand their financial stories and drive predictable outcomes through robust budget and forecast efforts.

The opportunity is a dual role whichfocusesmainly onFP&A but willalso be exposed to aspects of accounting and complianceand will support special projectsthatimpactthe entire operating group.

The ideal candidate for this role is energetic independent and detail-oriented with excellent communication business and analytical skills. You should be efficient resourceful and able tomaintainconfidentiality. Professional Acumen

  • The ideal candidate will have strong organizational and communication skills allowing them to manage multiple priorities whilemaintainingexceptional attention to detail.

  • They will ensure strong relationships withbothinternal customersandcross functional teamsmaintaininga strong customer service culture and positive attitude within the finance team. Experience with a multi-location environment is a plus.

  • They should be proactive and eager to contribute and learn ask lots of questions and providerecommendations. Maintain a continuous improvement mindset and proactivelyidentify review and implement process improvements.

  • They should have strategic thinking with strong analytical skills problem-solving ability and the ability to apply a data-driven approach to decision-making ensuring that recommendations and solutions are fact-based.

  • The candidate should haveproficiencywith AI business intelligence (BI) tools advanced Excel and data automation technologies to streamline reporting enhance analysis and drive process efficiency

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

FP&A(50%)

  • Compile and analyze financial information to support decision-making processes including ad-hoc analysis for theCEOand other senior leaders as needed.

  • Maintain and update financial models forecasts and budgets in collaboration with the Finance and department leadership team to ensure data accuracy and integrity.

  • Lead the preparation of financial reports including monthly quarterly and annual board reporting packages and business unit reporting packages

  • Review and compile IRRs (Internal Rate of Return) for our investments across the group ensuring interlocks with forecast changes made by our business units. Submit these IRRs to our head office for review and decision-making.

  • Partner with the business units to proactively forecast business outcomes based on known and quantifiable data and analyze actual results against budget and forecast to understand business drivers and disruptors.

Accounting/Compliance(50%)

  • Prepare the quarterly and annual disclosure reporting package and cash flow.

  • Be a Business Unit Partner and a key contact and resource for accounting related inquiries.

  • Perform corporate review of BU financial variance analysis to ensure compliance with accounting policies

  • Prepare/review allocationmethodologyand calculations for HO expenses

  • Leaddata collection across the operating group and review for accuracy and completeness.

Education and Technical Skills

  • Bachelors inAccounting Finance or Business

  • Completed or near completion of an accounting orfinanceprofessional designation

  • Minimum 3 years of financial analyst experience; preferably in an enterprise software environment.

  • Minimum 3 yearsofmanaging reports -period-end distributions packages forecasting consolidations headcount

  • Key skillsincludeForecasting FP&A Modelling AnalysisAccounting Audit applying accounting policies (IFRS)experience working on a multidimensional business unit environment

  • Excellent analytical skills and experience with financial analysis conducting discounted cashflow models what-if analysis.

  • Ability to present financial data using detailed reports charts and executive summaries

  • Demonstrated ability toidentifyfinancial trends investigate financial errors omissions variances

  • Expertknowledge of Microsoft Office suite including sophisticated Excel workbooksandPowerPoint

  • General knowledge orexperienceworking with IFRS 15 is an asset

  • Generalknowledge ofOnestreamandPowerBIis anasset

  • Experiencewithworking with accounting/finance technology systems likeOneStreamJedox BPC Great Plains

Salary Range (Ontario & BC Only):

The estimated base salary range for this role is CAD$99000.00 - CAD$121000.00 per year. We include salary ranges in job postings only where required by applicable pay transparency laws based on the jurisdictions in which the role may be performed. The posted range is a good faith estimate and reflects factors that are subject to change. Final offer amounts may vary based on job-related factors including work location candidate experience and expertise and other relevant considerations.
