Job Summary

The Prince Rupert Port Authority (PRPA) is a leading industry organization dedicated to the overall planning development marketing and management of the commercial port facilities within the Port of Prince Rupert.

PRPA is seeking a motivated eager-to-learn student to join the asset maintenance team and contribute to ongoing projects and initiatives. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience develop professional skills and enhance career prospects.

Summer student employment is for four monthscommencingMay 4 2026 and endingAugust 28 2026unlessotherwise specified.

POSITION ACCOUNTABILITIES

The student willassistthe Asset Managementdepartment with ongoing projects and initiativespertaining to:
- Field inspections and review
- Surveying for assets ( lines)
- Site visits
- Quality control

JOB SPECIFICATIONS

The student should have an interest in both asset and project management.
Good working knowledge of budgeting scheduling reporting and document development.

WORKING CONDITIONS

Regular working hours are Monday to Friday 7.5 hours/day with a 1-hour lunch break (unpaid).
Work will be both in the field and in an office environment.

The hourly rate for PRPAs Summer Student positionis$29.00.
