Overview

In Business since 1919 and still growing Arrow is a leader in bulk commodity hauling reload operations freight management logistics consulting and technology with operations throughout Canada and the U.S. This growing Arrow division is managed out of the warehouse includes the pneumatic truck division flat deck trucking warehouse operations and the pipe/container yard.

We are looking for an experienced Labourer to join our pipe/container yard and become a part of our Arrow team in Edmonton.

Responsibilities

As a Labourer at our Alberta Reload Logistics divisions pipeyard you will:

Perform manual labour tasks and support operations
Work as a rigger destuffing containers
Spot for operators while loading trailers
Assist with general yard clean up and maintenance
Followallworkplacesafetypoliciesandcomplianceregulationsparticipateinidentifyinghazards
Complywithallrulesandregulationsprotocolsandestablishedmetrics
ProvideinternalandexternalCustomerServiceexcellence
Suggest changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency ofyardshop department or work crew
Abilitytounderstandcrosstrainingonallfunctionsatfacility
Other duties as assigned by manager

You Possess

Previous experience working in a safety sensitive environment is required
Previous experience working around heavy equipment is required
- Container destuffing experience is an asset
- Experience loading trailers is an asset
Ability to meet physical demands of the job (i.e. able to lift 50lbs)
Ability to work outside in all weather conditions
