Job Summary
The Temporary Camp Worker (Teacher Aide) will provide assistance as they are required to serve as a Teacher Aide for Dustys Junior University Summer Youth Program. They are responsible to assist the classroom teacher assist participants with activities and create a safe and positive learning in the Summer Youth Program classroom as needed.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Assist in the supervision of the participants of Dustys Junior University Summer Program.
Will welcome participants to class assist the instructor take participants to and from the restrooms lunch classrooms and pickup and departure sites.
Perform other duties as assigned by the instructor and/or Operations Manager.
Minimum Requirements
Education - High school diploma or post secondary education.
Experience - Must have experience working and leading children/youth.
May NOT be a currently enrolled undergraduate student at Texas A&M International University.
Bilingual (English/Spanish)
Knowledge Skills and Abilities
Ability to:
Communicate clearly and effectively to ensure understanding.
Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Work with sensitive information and maintain confidentiality.

Other Requirements
This is a temporary position start date of June 1st to July 24.
Position requires on campus face-to-face interactions.
Position requires maintaining a regular schedule of attendance on campus and in the workplace.
Promptly complete all required training.
Pay rate: $10.50 per hour
