About the role.
Repair maintain and install electrical/electronic systems and equipment such as motors wiring switches transformers PLCs and alarm systems.
What youll be doing.
- Implement McCain Competitive Edge and Lean Manufacturing practices relative to Safety Quality Cost Delivery and People (SQCDP).
- Locate and determine electrical malfunctions using electrical test instruments and PLC computer software.
- On-Call Requirement Must perform on-call duties on a rotating basis.
- On-site Requirement - Must perform duties onsite. Except work required to be done at one of McCains satellite locations.
- Operate forklift in accordance with company policy.
- Repair Maintain and Install electrical/electronic systems and equipment.
What youll need to be successful.
- To perform this job successfully an individual should have knowledge of PLC computer software.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and Two year degree in industrial controls/instrumentation or electrical construction and maintenance. Two years working in the electrical field within an industrial or construction setting would be deemed equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years experience in the electrical field in an industrial or construction setting unless waived by management
