As a Security Guard - Flex Entry Screening in Bronx NY you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities and more. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities at a utilities location.
- Control access to the facility by verifying identification managing visitor and contractor sign-in and/or badges and directing authorized personnel to the appropriate areas.
- Monitor access control points alarms and/or CCTV as assigned and document security-related activity in logs and reports per site requirements.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including contacting site leadership and/or emergency services as directed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas entrances and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess a New York State Security Guard License.
- Be 21 years of age.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
