Responsibilities

OR Departments: Responsible for supervising designated surgery support staff to ensure efficient departmental flow through effective and proper storage retrieval setup and maintenance of surgical equipment used across multiple services; timely fulfillment and delivery of surgical supplies and instrumentation to operating rooms; efficient and consistent response to operating room needs including but not limited to equipment supplies instrumentation transporting blood/tissue/specimens cleaning and patient moving/positioning.

Pre-op Departments: Responsible for the day-to-day ancillary operations of the pre-op departments including supervision of processes and support personnel to ensure effective and efficient flow of patients supplies and equipment.

Qualifications

Three (3) years of operations experience.
Demonstrated experience in change management and process implementation.
Basic computer skills.
Additional requirement for OR: Previous success leading teams in a fast paced environment.
Additional requirement for Pre-op: Familiarity with administrative functions including scheduling and payroll.

PREFERRED: OPERATING ROOM

Bachelors degree in business healthcare or related field.
For OR: Three (3) years of experience in surgical services.
For OR: Established understanding of surgery operations including but not limited to instrumentation supplies and cleaning.
For OR: Experience and/or certification as a surgical technologist.
For Pre-Op: Two (2) years of experience within perioperative services.
For Pre-Op: Three (3) years of experience in a supervisory role within a hospital setting.

Work Hours:

7am - 3:30pm
