Job Summary
Reports to: Principal Driver Education DirectorClassification: Stipend Position Dudley-Charlton Regional School CommitteeEssential Functions: To enable students to develop the proper attitude and necessary skill for safe :Minimum:1. Bachelors degree in education2. Meet state requirements for endorsement of driver educationDesired:1. Masters degree in traffic safety and driver education.2. Ability to work effectively with school staff and the community at :1. Prepares the drivers training vehicle and its occupants for safe and efficient travel.2. Instructs students to comply with all regulations pertaining to driving and the necessary skills to operate a motor vehicle safely and efficiently.3. Prepares the students to identify predict and respond according to urban and rural driving environments.4. Maintains and prepares all necessary records and reports.5. Explains and interprets the schools driver education program to school personnel and the community at large.6. Performs all responsibilities listed under the heading of teacher.7. Performs other tasks and assumes other responsibilities as the principal may assign.
