What Youll Do

Product Ownership & Delivery

• Contribute to AI Prototyping Lab environment to enable citizen developers experimenting with AI tools on curated data in a safe and compliant environment
• Own create prioritise and maintain the platform backlog & roadmap focusing on high-priority items and alignment with business owners and the product manager on product strategies
• Balance business needs technological capability and market trends for successful Low Code No Code AI tools
• Ensures that all deliveries from the team are compliant and inline with SAP processes
• Assess technical feasibility of new AI tools demands and ensure alignment with organisational objectives

Collaboration

• Engage with stakeholders across SAP to ensure transparency product feedback and to identify key opportunities for prototyping tools across the organization
• Take full responsibility for achievement of the squads goals
• Adhere to the standards set by architects security & other SMEs

Continuous Improvement

• Promote value realization & iterative product learning through use feedback collection
• Proactively self-improve & share expertise with the squad
• Give & receive feedback regularly to improve processes and product

Accountability

• Responsible for delivery of outcome of assigned projects or areas of responsibility
• Collaborates in devising long-term concepts
• May include team lead or supervisory responsibilities
• Internally recognized senior on complex technical and business matters
• Works on large complex activities using demonstrated creativity and expertise and applying specialist professional knowledge to deliver high quality results / technical solutions

What You Bring

Qualification & Certifications

• Bachelors or masters degree in computer science or similar field
• At least 8 years of experiences with the last 5 years in product management
• SAP AWS GCP Azure certifications (desirable)
• Product Owner & Project Management certifications (desirable)

Functional Expertise

• Understanding of low-code/no-code platform design principles and citizen developer personas knowing what non-technical users need to be productive without hand-holding
• Familiarity with AI/ML tooling ecosystems (e.g. LLM APIs prompt playgrounds RAG pipelines agent frameworks) and how to abstract their complexity for non-expert users
• Experience with developer experience (DevX) or platform product management designing intuitive onboarding self-service workflows and templated starter kits
• Knowledge of enterprise governance and guardrails including usage policies model access controls cost management and responsible AI compliance especially relevant in SAPs context
• Ability to define and track platform adoption metrics such as time-to-first-prototype active users use case conversion rate and user satisfaction
• Understanding of API marketplace or service catalog concepts curating and exposing AI capabilities (models connectors tools) in a discoverable composable way
• Familiarity with SAP BTP AI Core and adjacent SAP technologies to ensure the platform aligns with the existing enterprise technology landscape

Technical Expertise

• Proven experience in product ownership or management within AI/ML platforms or developer tooling
• Strong understanding of LLM orchestration prompt engineering RAG and agentic frameworks enough to make informed prioritization and trade-off decisions
• Familiarity with SAP BTP ecosystem (AI Core AI Launchpad Cloud Foundry) and platform engineering concepts (APIs microservices multi-tenancy)
• Working knowledge of security access control and responsible AI governance patterns for multi-user platforms
• Experience with agile methodologies and backlog management tools (e.g. Jira)

General Business Expertise

• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills with the ability to translate business needs into technical requirements
• Demonstrated ownership accountability and strategic thinking
