Job Title: Direct Sales Manager (GLI - Direct Sales)

Experience: 5-7 yr in Direct Sales of Equipment (preferably- Lubricated & Oil-Free Screw)

Location: Bangalore

Job Summary: Territory Manager (Direct Sales) is responsible for driving business growth for Ingersoll Rands screw compressor portfolio (Lubricated & Oil-Free) within the assigned territory. The role focuses on increasing market share strengthening customer relationships generating highquality sales pipeline and achieving AOP targets through opportunity conversion. The role requires strong market intelligence effective usage of Sales force timely response and collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth order closure & execution. High customer orientation and relationship-building ability along with excellent negotiation communication and presentation skills and important for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Sales Performance & Target Achievement
    • Achieve monthly quarterly and annual booking and revenue targets as per AOP.
    • Deliver consistent pipeline sufficiency through territory mapping opportunity generation and new customer acquisition.
    • Drive consistent order closures through proactive customer engagement.

  1. Opportunity Generation & Conversion
    • Identify new opportunities through prospection customer visits.
    • Conduct site assessments and propose the right compressor solutions
    • Prepare technical-commercial proposals lead negotiations and finalize orders.
    • Convert competitor users through strong value-selling & ROI tools.

  1. Direct Customer Management
    • Develop strong relationships with procurement maintenance projects and Decision makers.
    • Generate enquiries submit quotations and follow through for timely closures.
    • Maintain accurate and timely updates for all accounts and opportunities.

  1. CRM Discipline & Reporting
    • Maintain complete and accurate opportunity funnel in Salesforce.
    • Provide weekly and monthly reporting on pipeline forecasts opportunity status and competition insights.
    • Highlight risks in order closure or shipment timelines proactively.
