About the Role
The School invites applications for two Senior Lecturer positions within the Department of Mechanical Manufacturing and Mechatronic Engineering in Systems Engineering and Mechatronics Engineering. The successful candidates will contribute to high-quality teaching at Undergraduate and Masters levels curriculum development research excellence supervision of higher degree research students academic leadership (including course coordination) and the development of strong academic and industry partnerships. The role includes maintaining an active research profile and attracting competitive research funding aligned with the Departments strategic priorities.

To be successful for this position you will have:
Demonstrated ability to design coordinate and deliver contemporary undergraduate and postgraduate teaching (face-to-face and online) in Systems Engineering Engineering Management and/or Mechatronics/Robotics Engineering including the development of high-quality curriculum and authentic assessment materials.
An emerging track record of quality research outputs aligned with Systems Engineering or Mechatronics/Robotics Engineering preferably including application of AI in the relevant field evidenced by publications development of research initiatives progress toward competitive research funding and industry/professional linkages.
Capacity to undertake course and/or program coordination responsibilities and contribute to academic leadership.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively and sensitively with students to support positive learning outcomes.
Demonstrated experience or capacity to supervise Higher Degree by Research candidates.
Ability to build effective academic industry and government networks to support collaborative and externally funded research initiatives.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a strong commitment to teamwork and multidisciplinary collaboration.
Qualifications
Mandatory: PhD in relevant field.
