Job Description
As a Security Officer - Access Control in Kahului HI you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution and more. As an Access Control Officer at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location you will help manage entry and exit points verify credentials support badge and visitor processes and monitor activity to help identify security-related concerns. You will conduct routine patrols stay visible document incidents and communicate clearly with team members and site leaders. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to visitors drivers and employees by following site-specific access control procedures and security-related policies at a logistics and distribution location.
- Control entry and exit at gates and/or lobbies by verifying identification confirming appointments or delivery documentation issuing visitor credentials and directing traffic to designated areas.
- Monitor alarm panels CCTV and access control systems when assigned and report irregular activity or policy violations according to post orders.
- Respond to incidents emergencies and service requests in a calm problem-solving manner including coordinating notifications and documenting actions taken.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of warehouses loading docks parking areas and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized access and report hazards or maintenance concerns.
Minimum Requirements:
- Access Control/Badge Experience is preferred.
- A Guard Card/License is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
