Joliet Slammers
Location: Joliet IL

The Joliet Slammers are seeking a reliable and energetic Camera Operator to join our game day production team for the 2026 upcoming season. This part-time/seasonal position offers hands-on experience in live sports production within a professional baseball environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate broadcast and/or in-stadium cameras during home games
Capture live game action crowd shots promotional elements and sponsor features
Follow direction from the Director or Production Manager during live gameplay
Assist with camera setup breakdown and equipment maintenance
Maintain steady professional-quality shots throughout the event

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Basic understanding of camera operation and shot composition
Ability to take direction and react quickly in a live sports environment
Strong focus and awareness of game flow
Availability to work evenings weekends and holidays during the season
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate equipment

Preferred Qualifications:

Prior live sports or event production experience
Familiarity with broadcast camera systems
College coursework or degree in communications broadcasting or related field preferred but not required
