The Beverage Cart Attendant serves food beverages and snacks to club members and guests on the IMG Academy Country Club golf course.
Position Responsibilities
- Provide the highest level of service in accordance with our standards Develops relationships with member and guests.
- Adhering to all company policies procedures and business ethic codes.
- Reports to work as scheduled in uniform and ready to be in position.
- Speaks to members and guests with enthusiasm at all times.
- Stocking and restocking of cart items
- Abides by golf course rules and regulations
- Responsible for constant sanitation organization and proper food handling.
- Maintains a safe clean organized and well-stocked beverage cart.
- Communicates with Golf Shop and Outside Operations staff to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Ability to effectively operate computerized POS system and conduct credit card transactions.
- Assisting with special events as necessary
- Other duties as assigned by management
Knowledge Skills and Abilities
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Present a friendly professional image
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Basic knowledge of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
- Basic knowledge of golf course procedures
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work flexible hours to include nights weekends and holidays
Preferred Skills
- Bilingual
Physical Demands and Work Environment
- Ability to stand and walk for duration of shift
- Ability to operate golf carts
- Ability to lift carry move push and pull equipment or boxes up to 40lbs
- Must be able to handle outdoor temperatures for a reasonable period of time
- Must be able to move around campus which includes gym turf fields stairs etc.
