About the Role
The Caretaker will maintain a safe clean and secure learning environment for staff and students working closely with the Site Manager and facilities team.
Key responsibilities include:
Opening and closing the school premises
Performing routine maintenance and minor repairs
Supporting health and safety compliance checks
Assisting with room setup for lessons events and examinations
Monitoring site security and reporting issues
Liaising with contractors when required
The Ideal Candidate
Previous experience in caretaking facilities or maintenance
Basic DIY and repair skills
Awareness of health and safety procedures
Reliable punctual and proactive
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Experience within a school setting is desirable but not essential.
